128-Year-Old Man From Argentina Claims He Is Adolf Hitler

An elderly man from Salta in Argentina claims that he is the infamous German dictator Adolf Hitler and that he actually spent the last 70 years in hiding.

The naturalized German immigrant, in an interview with the ultra – conservative newspaper El Patriota, explains that he arrived in the country in the year 1945, having a passport identifying him Herman Guntherberg.

Guntherberg claims that his passport was a fake one which was produced by the Gestapo near the end of the war and that he is the former Nazi leader – Adolf Hitler. He says that he decided to come out of hiding, after that the Israeli secret services have officially abandoned their policy of pursuing the former criminals from the Nazi war last year. He says:

“I’ve been blamed for a lot of crimes that I’ve never committed. Because of that, I’ve had to spend more than half of my life hiding from Jews, so I’ve had my punishment already.”

Guntherberg claims that he is now preparing to publish his autobiography, so he could restore his public image. He adds:

“I’ve been depicted as a bad guy only because we lost the war. When people read my side of the story, it will change the way the perceive me.”

He also says that the book he wrote will be published under the name Adolf Hitler and that it should be available in September.

A lot of people, including his wife that is 55 years, named Angela Martinez, believes that Herman Guntherberg is not really Adolf Hitler, but that he is simply suffering from dementia.

Ms. Martinez claims that her husband never spoke about Adolf Hitler, until about two years ago, when he started showing signs of the Alzheimer’s disease. She says:

“Sometimes, he would forget who I was and where he was. He looked like he was in trance, and he would start talking about Jews and demons. Then he’d come back to normal.”

Ms. Martinez believes that her husband may possibly have been a Nazi and that he may also feel some guilt about the past he had, but she is convinced that he is not Adolf Hitler.

Even though his claims seem rather questionable, they have sparked an animated debate in Israel, as well as in the American Jewish community, concerning the future of the surviving Nazi criminals from the war.

Mossad had actually proved its ambition and the global reach in the past with the capturing of the Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann in Argentina in 1960, but over the recent years it has abandoned this mission.

The Wiesenthal Center, which is still trying to find, as well as to prosecute the Nazi criminals, in March, has publicly criticized Israel, saying that the state of Jewish was barely cooperating to its mission.

More than 70 years after the end of the Second World War, there were a few states and institutions which are still trying to find, as well as prosecute the surviving Nazi criminals, and most of them will certainly die without ever being punished for the crimes that they made.
