HOW TO GET RID OF THOSE WHITE LITTLE BUMPS ON YOUR FACE

There are many things that you would simply prefer not to have on your face, even if they are not dangerous. The milia, those little white bumps, are small whitish cysts that look like small moles. They can affect people of any age.

The milia is composed of keratin, a substance similar to that which forms the skin, hair and nails. It usually disappears with the passage of time, but if it really bothers you and you do not want to wait, you can make it disappear quickly.

1. Skin care

Because improper skin care can cause these white lumps to appear, you should wash and exfoliate your face regularly, and continue to apply a good moisturizer.

2. Sauna

A visit to the sauna can help eliminate the milia. The heat will open the pores, and later you will be able to rub them gently.

3. Avoid the sun

Excessive sun exposure can cause these white granites to multiply and make it harder to get rid of them. Then you should avoid exposure to the sun, or at least use some sunscreen.

4. Honey

Thanks to the hydration provided by honey and its antioxidant properties, you can eliminate white lumps more quickly.

5. Lemon

With a homemade lemon scrub, you can exfoliate the lumps and remove them. Squeeze half a lemon and mix the juice with 2 tablespoons of sugar and a tablespoon of olive oil. Rub the mixture on your face for a few minutes and let it sit for 20 minutes before washing with warm water.

6. Cornstarch and vinegar

With this combination, the bundles will be a thing of the past quickly. Mix a teaspoon of vinegar (preferably apple) with enough cornstarch to obtain a paste. Apply to the affected area and let it rest for 20 to 30 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

7. Fenugreek

Due to its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, fenugreek leaves have a very positive effect on acne, blackheads, and milia.

8. Castor oil

Because of its antibacterial properties, this oil helps regulate the skin’s production of fat, which is why it is also a popular remedy against pimples and acne. And in turn, it also helps fight the milia. Rub your face with a teaspoon of castor oil and wait until everything is absorbed. Then wash your face with warm water.

9. Granada

The roasted powder of pomegranates is a very popular treatment to quickly eliminate milia. Because it is antioxidant and rich in vitamin C, it exerts a calming effect on the skin and also treats a few imperfections. To do it yourself, toast some pomegranate peels until they are spoiled and dark brown. Grind them to powder and apply them to the white lumps with water, but without rinsing them. Perform this procedure once a week until the family leaves.

If the white lumps really bother you and all the exfoliants and skin routines do not achieve the goal, consult a doctor. You may have to remove the milia with professional procedures such as cryotherapy or extraction.

Attention: do not apply these methods on babies or small children, since the milia in many cases usually disappear without treatment and removing them could damage their sensitive skin.
